TESLA'S PATENTS - FOR ALL NIKOLA TESLA FANS
Is there a more famous figure, more intriguing personality, more brilliant mind than Nikola Tesla - the inventor for the third millennium?! Everything related to him becomes extremely valuable and appreciated.
It is understandable that during his life, but also all the years after that, Nikola Tesla attracted the attention of the widest world public. The motives were numerous, most often related to his visions, discoveries, and patents, but also his personality, way of life, relationships with people were the subject of interest and controversy.
These days, the media are reporting one of a series of disputes between Croatia and Serbia, and it concerns the adoption of Nikola Tesla and his origins. In that sense, the anecdote, about a hundred and thirty years old, is also relevant again, in which Tesla unequivocally explains everything. During his visit to Belgrade, he told students at the Belgrade University:
"As you can see and hear, I have remained a Serb also across the sea, where I am engaged in research. You should be the same and raise the fame of Serbs in the world with your knowledge and work."
These simple words in many ways reveal the essence of one of the greatest minds of humanity, otherwise enigmatic even during his life and even more mysterious when the world began to discover him. A person special like Nikola Tesla who does not live like other people caused interest, sometimes ridicule and disbelief, but most often huge admiration. Myths and legends are spun around him, and one writer expressed her fascination with the words that Tesla is "the embodiment of a superior being from the planet Venus".
What, in fact, did Tesla contribute to the world?
Speaking about the importance of Tesla's research work, English professor Kap compared it to the invention of the wheel. Inventing an invisible wheel, which was made of nothing but a magnetic field, which was far from obvious, and that is what we owe to Tesla. It could only be imagined and developed in a brilliant and unique mind.
There is wide interest in the works of Nikola Tesla even long after his death. Fortunately, almost all his manuscripts, housed in thirty boxes, were delivered to our country. They are now home in the Museum of "Nikola Tesla" in Belgrade, available to scientists to seek inspiration or develop ideas that Tesla himself did not have the opportunity to complete.
Tesla is, of course, one of the greatest inventors of the last millennium, and his discoveries, according to the selfless wish of scientists, are the property of the entire human civilization.
Tesla's inventions are numerous and from different scientific fields. He achieved about a thousand inventions and patents: induction motor, three-phase power transmission system, generator, and transformer for high frequency currents (Tesla's currents) and others.
