HOLY MARTYR SUNDAY

Saint Martyr Nedelja (Saint Kyriakia) was a Christian saint who lived in the 3rd century and suffered for her faith during the time of the Roman emperor Diocletian. She was born in a Christian family, and her name means "Sunday", because she was born on that day. She refused to marry, wanting to devote her life to Christ, for which she was persecuted.

She endured terrible tortures, but according to tradition, God miraculously healed her wounds. In the end, she was executed by beheading, becoming a martyr for the Christian faith. Believers celebrate her as the protector of women, families and the sick.
