PERUN'S AX ​​is the talisman of strong men.

It was carried with them by soldiers who went to war to defend the country from enemy hordes. Evidence for this is a large number of amulets that were found in excavated graves of soldiers from the time of Kievan Rus.

The ax is an important part of various rites and rituals. Events such as marriage, birth of a child, naming a child could not be imagined without this amulet. It was also used during childbirth, in order to ensure protection for the newborn, but also to protect the mother from evil forces (for this purpose, the ax was placed in front of the door or even under the bed to give the mother the necessary strength).

VINČAN TILE
