• The dragon is a fiery being and in Slavic mythology represents the personification of the sun (supreme) deity, and as such is inseparable connection with the heavenly fire and the home hearth, which in our folklore is precisely called the "dragon's nest".
• Dragon mythological and morphological origins from the serpent, the Hthonian (lunar, female) form of the protector of the house, family and spirits of ancestors, and by accepting the patriarchal structure becomes the male or solar principle of the Creator and protector.
• Dragons most often live on mountains and are people's favorites - they protect them and crops from the city-bearing clouds that according to tradition bring ale and dragons.
• In the Serbian tradition, the highest form of this supernatural being is a combination of dragon and man in the figures of "dragon heroes" who have small armpit wings, snake youth and a whip made of wolf hair on the arm, which is considered a mark of the early form of the supreme deity among the Serbs – the snake and the wolf.
