TRIPTYCH OF SAINT LUKE OF CRIMEA 22x18cm - wooden, gilded

Handmade triptych Saint Luke of Crimea. The metal parts are ennobled with 24-carat gilding (the finest and highest-quality gilding on the market), as well as 925 fine silver plating. The icon is additionally decorated with zircons, in order to draw even more attention to all the smallest details that were taken care of during production.

The back of the triptych also has a handle/stand so you can easily position it anytime, anywhere. There are two angels in the left and right wings of the triptych.

The icon was modeled after the medieval icons, which were made to the smallest detail and everything except the face was forged. It was made using the technique of engraving, and then pouring metal into molds.

PORT OF CRIMEA

Saint Luke of Crimea (1877–1961), born Valentin Vojno-Jasenjecki, was an Orthodox bishop, surgeon and professor of medicine. He is known for his extraordinary devotion to religion and medicine, simultaneously serving as both a doctor and a priest. During the Soviet period, he was persecuted for his faith, but despite this he continued to heal people, especially during the Second World War, when he gained fame as a brilliant surgeon.

Saint Luke wrote many medical works and was the recipient of the Stalin Prize for Medicine. After death, his body remained incorruptible, and his prayer intercessions are associated with many miraculous healings. He was canonized in 1996, and the faithful pray to him for help in illness and in difficult life situations.
